Ellnora "Lucille" Sullivan, 92, died Monday, July 21, 2014 at Sikeston Convalescent Center. She was born July 6, 1922 at Clarksville, Arkansas to the late James & Anna (Price) Box. A resident of this area most of her life, she was a member of Trinity Gospel Church and had worked for many years as a cook and waitress at Kirby's Sandwich Shop. On Dec. 20, 1938 she was married to William Earl Sullivan in Sikeston and he preceded her in death March 30, 1996. She is survived by 1 son, J.R. Sullivan, 2 daughters & sons-in-law, Shirley (Harvey) Shirkey and Brenda (Myron) Vanover all of Sikeston; 8 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 15 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 1 son, Haskell "Hack" Sullivan and by 1 granddaughter, Kristi Florek and by 4 brothers and 1 sister. Friends may call at Blanchard Funeral Chapel Thursday, July 24 from 12 noon until time for services at 2:00 pm. Rev. Len Meyers, pastor of Trinity Gospel Church will officiate and burial will follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Allen Dirickson.
