Obituary

LUCY AGNES BROWN GILMORE, Age 90, a resident of Charleston, died Friday, November 06, 2009 at the Charleston Manor.

She was born March 8, 1919 at Charleston to the late Joe and Lela Sampson Brown. She had lived in Mississippi County most of her life and was a member of the St. Henry Catholic Church in Charleston.

On October 30, 1938, she married Gilbert M. Gilmore who preceded her in death on November 5, 2008.

Surviving are: one son and daughter in law, Rod and Kathy Gilmore of Fenton, MO; one daughter, Charlotte Gilmore of Bertrand; one grandson and granddaughter in law, Derek and Sarah Gilmore of Leawood, KS; two great grandchildren, Logan Gilmore and Reese Gilmore both of Leawood, KS.

An infant son, Donald Gilmore; one brother, Joe Brown and two sisters, Alma Brock and Jennie Wright all preceded her in death.

Friends may call from 9:00 a.m. until the funeral hour at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 10, 2009 at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston. Monsignor Richard Rolwing, senior priest in residence at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Sikeston.

Interment will be at 12:00 p.m. (noon) at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery at Bloomfield under the direction of the McMikle Funeral Home of Charleston.
