MABLE MARIE KIDD SIMS, Age 81, a resident of Charleston, died Tuesday, November 20, 2018, at the Delta South Nursing Center in Sikeston.

Born January 8, 1937, at Wyatt, MO, to the late Woodrow W. Kidd and Elsie M. Williams Kidd, she was a 1955 graduate of Charleston High School. A long-time member of the Southside Baptist Church in Charleston, she was known for her work in the church nursery for over 36 years. She had been employed as with the Slate N' Pencil stationary supply store in downtown Charleston for a number of years until it closed. She was then employed with the Sheltered Workshop and Susanna Wesley Family Learning Center at East Prairie.

Her life companion, Paul David Bone, preceded her in death on May 2, 2017.

Surviving are her daughter and son in law, Johnna and Jeff Hall of Charleston; her grandchildren, Jeff Hall, Jr. and Derek Hall of Charleston and Melanie Hall of Sikeston; great grandchildren, Jude, Jocelyn, Julianne and Finnian; her sister, Connie (David) Noel of Edwardsville, IL; and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Besides her life companion and her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Mack (Buddy) Kidd and two sisters, Kathryn Baugh and Ruth E. Hobbs.

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour at 1:00 p.m. Friday, November 23, 2018, at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston. Joe Mooney, will officiate.

Interment will follow in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery near Charleston under the direction of the McMikle Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be: Jeff Hall, Jr., Derek Hall, Rocky Walker, II., Andy Baugh, Rusty Baugh, Zack Gilmore and Mack Kidd.

Honorary Pallbearers will be: Phil Morgan, Terry Morgan and Greg Golightly.
