Malinda Diane Williams

Malinda Diane Williams, age 67, of Matthews, MO, died Wednesday, July 8, 2026, at Cotton Point Living Center in Matthews, MO.

Born October 31, 1958, at Kansas City, MO, to the late William “Bill” Simpson and Mary Alice Ozment, she had lived in Mississippi County in her younger years and later in Sikeston and New Madrid County. She attended the Potters House Church near Sikeston.

Surviving are her children, Jonathan (Sherry) Givens of Sikeston; Amy (Aaron) Murphy of New Madrid; and Josh Givens and Joe (Heather) Givens all of Sikeston; her brother, Darrell Simpson; her grandchildren, Chris Givens, Matt Givens, Raven Murphy, Caleb Givens, Mara Murphy, Macy Givens and Brody Givens; four great grandchildren, Mason Givens, Riley Givens, Wyatt Givens and Maggie Givens.

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour at 1:00 p.m., Friday, July 10, 2026, at the McMikle Funeral Home in Sikeston. Bro. John Givens, pastor of The Potters House, will officiate.

Interment will follow in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery near Charleston under the direction of the McMikle Funeral Home of Sikeston.

Pallbearers will be Chris Grivens, Matt Givens, Caleb Givens, Aaron Murphy, Junior Garces and James Smart.
