Margaret Marie Joyce, 88, a life-long resident of Sikeston, died at her home Friday, April 12, 2019.

She was born in Sikeston September 2, 1930 to the late Arlen and Blanche (Moody) Miller.  She began working at Buckner-Ragsdale in Sikeston at the age of 17, and in 1980 she became co-owner-operator with her husband and sister-in-law.  She was a member of First United Methodist Church and had been a volunteer Pink Lady at Missouri Delta Medical Center.

On June 6, 1948 she married Carl Thurman Joyce in Sikeston and he preceded her in death April 14, 2003.  She is survived by 1 son, James Trent Joyce of St. Louis; 1 daughter, Caryl Maria Hairston of Matthews; 1 sister, Lois McRill of Sikeston and 1 sister-in-law, Bertha Joyce of Sikeston.  Five grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren also survive.  In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded  in death by twin sons in infancy, 1 brother 1 sister and 1 son-in-law.

Private graveside rites will be conducted at Garden of Memories at a later date.
