MARGARET ELLEN ROSS JENKINS, Age 74, of Matthews, died Monday, September 18, 2023, at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

Born April 30, 1949, near Matthews, MO, to the late James Frank Ross and Margaret A Howard Ross, she had lived near Matthews most of her life and had worked as a cook and waitress.  She had attended the Canalou Baptist Church.

She was married to Jack Jenkins who preceded her in death.

Surviving is her son, Steve (Kathy) Seabaugh of Troy, MO; her daughter, Tina Young of Newport, OR; six grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; her sisters, Carolyn Holyfield of Bloomfield; Jewell Tankersley of Campbell and Linda (Clarence) McClain of Malden, MO; also, a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.'

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her sons, James Burette Seabaugh and Timothy Wayne Seabaugh, Sr. and her brothers and sisters, Charlie Ross, Ray Ross, Robert Ross, James Ross, Ruby Taylor, Ruthie Lacey, Betty Kerley; as well as three infant brothers and one infant sister.

Visitation will be from noon until 1:00 p.m., Friday, September 22, 2023, at the McMikle Funeral Home in Sikeston.   Graveside services will follow at 1:30 p.m. at the Matthews Cemetery.

Interment will follow under the direction of the McMikle Funeral Home of Sikeston.
