Margie Laverne Saulsbery-Gaskins, 60, died Sunday, Oct. 13, 2019, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.  She was born April 18, 1959 in Ft. Bragg, North Carolina to the late Pearl Edward and Betty Lue (Wyatt) Saulsbery.   Margie was a hairdresser and had been part-owner of Trend-Setters in Jackson, had owned Curl Up & Dye in Sikeston, and had worked at various other shops in the area,, including J.C. Penney's and Wal-Mart.

On Dec. 31, 2006 she married Perry Gaskins in Sikeston and he survives of the home.  Also surviving are 1 son, Edward Louis Saulsbery of Atlanta;   three sisters, Eva Westmoreland of Sikeston, Kathy & Alan Oberbeck of Jackson and Loretta & Carla Scott Franklin of Sikeston.  Several nieces and nephews also survive.

A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
