MARIE LUCY KOHNE, age 89, of Charleston, died Monday, February 10, 2020, at the Charleston Manor.

Born August 23, 1930, at Piggott, AR, to the late Clifford and Alta Mae Lambert Counts, she had lived in Charleston a number of years and had worked as a cook.

She was married to Roy Kohne who preceded her in death.

Surviving are her daughters, Carolyn Y. Rider of Charleston; Sharon White (Ron) Bailey of Pershing, FL and Debbie Martinez of St. Louis; three brothers, Henry Counts and Kenneth Counts of East Prairie and Cletus Counts of Sikeston; 4 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her son in law, Lloyd Rider; two brothers, Bill Counts and Carl Counts and by two sisters, Christine Cogdill and Trudy High,

Graveside services will be held at a later date in St. Louis.

McMikle Funeral Home of Charleston is in charge of arrangements.
