Obituary
SUE DICKERSON, age 76, died Thursday, August 16, 2012 at her residence in Bertrand.
She was born February 27, 1936 in McCracken County, KY to the late J. R. Peyton and Rebecca Peyton Johnson. She had lived in Bertrand since 1986 where she was a former member of the First Baptist Church and currently a member of the New Beginnings Fellowship in Charleston.
On November 6, 1958 she married James C. Dickerson who preceded her in death on July 1, 2007.
She is survived by one daughter, Sharla (Bruce) Purdie of Bertrand; one son, Keith(Retha) Dickerson of Powderly, TX; one brother, Jack (Ludie) Peyton of Saucier, MS; one sister, Sherry (Gene) Toumey of Tuscan, AZ; 11 grandchildren; many great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Two sons, Clifton Dickerson and John Robert Dickerson, and one great granddaughter, Laura Jean Folmer, preceded her in death.
Memorial Services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 18, 2012, at the New Beginnings Fellowship Church in Charleston with Ron Aldridge, Pastor, officiating.
