Obituary
MARJORIE CORDELIA DAVIDSON, age 92, a resident of Charleston died at 11:50 a.m. on Sunday, June 13, 2010, at the Charleston Manor.
She was born December 21, 1917 in Clarkton to the late George and Drusilla Whitaker Blaylock. She lived in Charleston most of her life and was a faithful member of the First Baptist Church teaching Sunday School and active in the WMU for many years. She grew up in the age of politeness and lived it.
On May 4, 1946 she married Rex Davidson who preceded her in death in March 1986.
Surviving are two sons, Rex Davidson Jr. of Bertrand and Samuel "Terry" Davidson of Jackson; one daughter, Christy Davidson of Farmington; three grandchildren, Jeniffer Brower of Kevil, KY, Bryan Davidson and Eric Davidson both of Jackson; three great grandchildren, Ellie Brower, Brant Brower, and Alexa Brower all of Kevil, KY.
Four brothers and one sister preceded her in death.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 15, 2010, at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston where Funeral Services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday with Kerry Stokes of Charleston officiating.
Interment will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Clarkton under the direction of McMikle Funeral Home.
