Obituary
MARJORIE MAE WHEATLEY, Age 75, died Sunday, January 13, 2013 at her home in East Prairie.
Born January 16, 1937, at Dover, TN, to the late Cecil and Dorothy Stewart Dodge, she had lived in East Prairie most of her life where she was a member of the First Christian Church.
On October 6, 1956, she married Shirley Wheatley, who preceded her in death March 26, 2002.
Surviving are: two sons, Terry Wheatley of East Prairie and Clyde Wheatley of Sikeston; one brother Clarence Dodge of Dexter; two sisters, Imogene Ward and Barbara Dodge, both of East Prairie; 8 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Ray Dodge, Butch Dodge, and William Franklin "Billy" Dodge.
Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 16, 2013 at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston where funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, January 17, 2013. Martin Lucas of East Prairie will officiate.
Interment will follow in the East Prairie Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of the McMikle Funeral Home of Charleston.
Pallbearers will be: Larry Britt, Milas Mainord, Bill Munger, Chris Britt, Ronnie Carter and Jerry Maxwell.
