MARK LEE HOUSEHOLDER, age 50, died Saturday, June 26, 2021, at his home in Sikeston.

He was born on July 3, 1970 in Sikeston to Robert Louis "JR" and Virginia Sue Washburn Householder and was a 1988 graduate of Kelly High School. In 1992 Mark went into the carpet business, first employed with Modern Floor Covering then Ultimate Flooring retiring in 2020 due to ill health. Mark was an avid baseball fan. He coached his son's teams and his love for the St. Louis Cardinals was widely known.  Mark enjoyed fishing, visiting wineries and breweries, and was quite a good dancer.

On August 18, 1990 he married Karla Diane Roberts who survives of the home.

Also surviving are his two sons, Ian (Lenzi) Householder of Charleston and Ty Householder of Cape Girardeau; his mother, Sue Householder James of Sikeston; one sister, Tami Barnett of Sikeston; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father Robert Louis "JR" Householder.

Friends are invited to join Mark's family for a Celebration of Life reception to be held on Tuesday, July 6, 2021, from 2:00 pm – 6:00 pm at the River Ridge Winery located at 850 Co Rd 321 in Scott City,
