Marsha Ann (Evans) Tremaine
Marsha was born to Dellon and Martha Fox Evans in Charleston, Missouri, on October 2, 1945, and always valued her Mississippi County roots. She moved with her family to Jefferson City in time to graduate from Jefferson City High School and remained in Jefferson City throughout her life. She died at her home in Jefferson City after a brief illness on July 30, 2024, with loved ones at her side.
Marsha worked at Brown Shoe in Charleston, then for State of Missouri for Dept of Revenue before retiring from Dept of Mental Health, then continuing on at Dillard's, all in Jefferson City.
She was a member of Red Hat Society and Pearls card group. She loved going to a casino, traveling, and shopping -- as long as it was with friends -- and was famous for being the pickiest eater.
She was preceded in death by her parents, twin baby girls, her sister Carolyn, and her husband, Sam Tremaine.
She is survived by her son, Shawn Tremaine of Jefferson City, a gaggle of cousins, and dear friends, who will miss her wit.
Graveside services will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 31, 2024, on the family plot at Oak Grove Cemetery, Charleston, Missouri.
