MARY JUNE ADAMS, 91, of East Prairie, died Monday, April 27, 2020, at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
Born June 23, 1928, at Monticello, IL, to the late S.O. Wagner and Lola Dillard Wagner, she had lived in East Prairie a number of years where she was a member of the First Baptist Church. She had been employed in the packing department of the Brown Shoe Company in Charleston a number of years.
On July 23, 1948, she married Houston Odell Adams, who preceded her in death February 28, 1989.
A loving mother, grandmother and devoted Christian, she leaves behind her daughter, Karen (Kenny) Miller of Blytheville, AR; her son, Steve Adams of East Prairie; granddaughter, Heather (Randy) Chamness of Manila, AR; grandson, Zach Adams of Cape Girardeau and Donnie Adams of Nesbit, AR and two special great grandchildren, Lindsey and Randy J. of Fayetteville, AR; and her brothers, Wayne Wagner, Donsel Wagner, Bob Wagner and Ronnie Wagner.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her sons, Terry Adams and Neal Adams and by three brothers and two sisters.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 29, 2020, at the Oak Grove Cemetery near Charleston.
Interment will follow under the direction of the McMikle Funeral Home of Charleston.
