Mary Elizabeth Tolbert Banks, age 86, longtime resident of the Sikeston area, went to her Heavenly reward, Wednesday, February 25, 2026, from her home near Sikeston, MO.

Married to Howard Thomas Banks, Mary and her sisters were best known for their musical talents, performing as "The Tolbert Sisters", singing for numerous funerals and singing events for many years.

There is no visitation.

Family and friends may assemble at 10:00 a.m., Monday, March 2, 2026, at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, MO, for graveside services.

Interment will follow under the direction of the McMikle Funeral Home of Sikeston, MO.
