Obituary
MARY ELIZABETH BARBIAN, Age 78, a resident of Sikeston, died Thursday, September 8, 2011 at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
Born April 18, 1933, in Charleston, MO, to the late Narvel L. and Goldie Elizabeth Brown Childers, she had lived in California a number of years and returned to the Sikeston area in the 1970's. She had worked as a bookkeeper and was a member of the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Sikeston.
Surviving are: one son, Narvel Douglas Barbian of San Jacinto, CA; one daughter, Dawn V. Ward of Paragould, AR; seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Narvel John Childers and by two great grandchildren.
Vistation will be from 12:30 p.m. until 1:15 p.m., Monday, September 12, 2011, at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston.
Graveside services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m., Monday, at the Calvary Cemetery near Charleston. Father Glenn Eftink, will officiate.
Interment will follow under the direction of the McMikle Funeral Home.
