Mary Helen Taylor Brown , age 71, of Sikeston, finished her earthly race and entered into Heaven's glory, Monday, January 16, 2023 at her home in Sikeston.
Born May 5, 1951, at Sikeston, MO, to the late Columbus Roscoe "Ross" Taylor and Gladys Helen Smith Taylor, she had lived in Sikeston her entire life and was a member of the Smith Avenue Church of God. For many years she served as a cook at the Jaycee Bootheel Rodeo and as a hostess for McDonalds Restaurant.
Surviving is her son, Darren (Donna) Martin of Sikeston; her daughters, Brigette (Forest) Campbell of Milton, FL, Michelle (Jason) King and Naomi Camile Brown, all of Sikeston; her sisters, Marie Gates and Connie Lou Chaney both of Sikeston; her grandchildren, Jason Mays, Devon Martin, Dalton Martin, Dylan Martin, Myca Martin, Karissa Denning; Haley King; Bryce King, Aubree Brown and Major Brown; nine great grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Clayton Ross Martin.
Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour at 1:00 p.m., Friday, January 20, 2023, at the McMikle Funeral Home in Sikeston. Austin Maxell will officiate.
Interment will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery at Sikeston under the direction of the McMikle Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Devon Martin, Dalton Martin, Mark Denning, Joshua Chaney, Austin Ervin and Jason Mays.
