Mary Ann Hickman

Mary Ann Doles Hickman, age 79, of Sikeston, Mo., died Tuesday, November 18, 2025, at Annies Garden Skilled Nursing Center in Sikeston.

Born December 24, 1945, at Matthews, MO, to the late Elmer Doles and Ocie Allen Patterson, she had lived in Sikeston area most of her life.

She was married to David Hickman who preceded her in death.

Surviving are her children, Laura Poyner, Jimmy Poyner, Tony Poyner and Dava Poyner all of Sikeston; nine grandchildren;Johnny Poyner, Robert Hicks, Rebecca Kramer, Treearra Poyner, Rodtree Banks Jr., Zaking Turner, Zayden Poyner, Avion Poyner and Sherry Brown and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her children, Juanita, Johnny, Jane Ann and Daniel; her brothers and sisters, Tommy Doles, Gladys McEntire, Estell Ferguson, Bertha Parvin and Magdalene Bailey,

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour at 11:00 a.m., Friday, November 21, 2025, at the McMikle Funeral Home in Sikeston.

Interment will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery at Sikeston under the direction of the McMikle Funeral Home of Sikeston.
