Mary Chandler Jones

MARY ANN CHANDLER JONES, age 68, died Thursday, September 2, 2021, at her home in Charleston.

She was born November 19, 1952, in Mississippi County, MO, to the late Laudie Forrest Chandler and Elzetta Jordan Chandler.  She had lived in Mississippi County her entire life and had been employed as a commercial truck driver.

On November 12, 1971, she married Freddy Glen Jones, who preceded her in death on January 16, 2010.

Surviving are her brothers and sisters, Wilford Chandler, Forrest Chandler and Joe Chandler, Freda Quertermous, Martha Norris and Debbie Chandler; also, a number of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters, Billy Chandler, Robert Chandler and Zetta Mae Bell.

Family and friends may gather at 1:30 p.m., Saturday, September 18, 2021 for graveside services at the Oak Grove Cemetery.

Interment will follow under the direction of the McMikle Funeral Home of Charleston.
