MARY ELIZABETH GRISSO NALL, age 68, a resident of Jackson, formerly of Charleston, left her earthly home and entered heaven with Jesus by her side on Thursday, May 14, 2015, after a long struggle with Alzheimer's disease.
Mary Beth was born November 13, 1946 in rural Charleston, to the late Lester "Jack" and Elizabeth Hart Grisso. A member of St. Henry Catholic Church, she was a graduate of St. Henry Catholic School in Charleston. Mary Beth received her Bachelor and Master Degree in education from Southeast Missouri State University and worked many years as a teacher loved by her students. Following her retirement from teaching she moved to Jackson where she ended her working career as a real estate agent in the Jackson area.
On April 16, 1966 she married the love of her life, Gordon Nall, who survives of Jackson.
They were blessed with two children, Wayne Nall, and Angie (Scott) Vaugier who both survive of Jackson.
Also surviving are three grandchildren, Chai, Addison, and Braden; three sisters, Jackie Gish of St. Louis, Kathy (Ron) Hubbard of San Antonio, TX, and Carla Grisso of Cape Girardeau; three brothers, Lester Grisso of Wyatt, James (Charlene) Grisso of rural Charleston and Terry Page Grisso of Linn; also many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Keith Grisso.
Prayer Services will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Monday, May 18, 2015 at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston with visitation following until 8:00 p.m., Monday evening.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 19, 2015 at the Immaculate Conception Church in Jackson. Father John Harth will serve as Celebrant.
Interment will follow in the Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson under the direction of McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston.
