MARY ANN PAZDERA, Age 66, a resident of Charleston, died Thursday, December 30, 2010 at the St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
Born January 20, 1944 at Wyatt, MO to the late Willie Gray and Mahala Christine Hill McMillen, she had lived in Charleston most of her life where she was the owner and operator of Mrs. Mary's Daycare for a number of years. She was a volunteer at St. Henry School in years past helping with the Daughters of Isabella, Physical Education and had served as a 4-H Leader and was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy in Charleston.
On February 2, 1963, she married Victor Louis Pazdera, who survives of the home.
Also surviving are: one son, Scott (Lori) Pazdera of Charleston; three daughters, Robin (John) Slaten and Vickie (Jeff) Humphrey both of Charleston and Tammy(Richard) McCullough of Queen City, TX; two brothers, Roy Thomas McMillen of Sikeston and Ronnie Ray McMillen of Chicago, IL; five sisters, Nola Faye Passley, Charlene Sue Grisso, Sally Marie Garrett and Wilma Irene McMillen all of Charleston and Barbara Jean Wilson of East Prairie, MO; 9 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Jessica Ann Pazdera and by one brother, Willie Dale McMillen.
Visitation will be from 12:30 p.m. until the funeral hour at 2:00 p.m., Monday, January 3, 2010 at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston. Rodney Dunlap, pastor of the Abundant Life in Christ Missionary Baptist Church in Charleston, will officiate.
Interment will follow in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery under the direction of the McMikle Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be: Matthew McCullough, Bobby Slaten, Bobby Kuykendall, Dennis Thurman, Jr., Larry Estes, Jr. and Kenny Garrett, Jr.
