Obituary
MARYLIN K. BLACK HANEY, Age 68, a resident of East Prairie, died Monday, January 25, 2016, at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
Born April 1, 1947, at Steele, MO, to the late Wilford Lee Black and Thelma Pauline Posey Black Simpkins, she had lived in East Prairie her entire life where she had been employed at MFA Oil Company and was a member of the First Baptist Church of East Prairie.
In 1966, she married Paul E. Haney, who survives of the home.
Also a number of nieces and nephews survive.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her step-father, J.T. Simpkins, two brothers, Otis Lawrence Black and Willis Lee Black; and one sister, Patricia Ann Gaddis.
Private services and burial are under the direction of the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston.
