Obituary

Mason Luke Devin

August 28, 2022 - September 17, 2022

"I prayed for this child, and the Lord has granted me what I asked of him."

(1 Samuel 1:27 NIV)

Mason had a short life but what had felt like a long journey. From the beginning to the end, we have fought so hard. Mason was born weighing 1lb. 14oz. and was 12 ½ inches long.

My little man was a Warrior. He had strawberry blond hair, dark blue eyes, and a button nose.

Mason is the son of Cassidy Devin and Chris Byassee. Mason is survived by an older sister, Mariah Lynn Devin, and an older brother, Rylan Jace Bolen.

Mason's grandparents are Stephanie and Garry Dorris and Dana and Johnny Byassee. Great grandparents are Elaine Devin, Carol Jackson, and Geraldine Byassee.

Mason is preceded in death by his great grandparents, Bert Keene, Mary and Reggie Stotts, Junior Byassee and Joseph Ferrell Devin.  Mason's grandpa, Mark Luther Devin, who inspired his initials.

Mason comes from large families and has many other relatives who love him. As well as a bunch of support and love from hearts all over who followed our journey.

Mason touched hearts in Germany, Thailand, and all over the United States. I am sure Mason is smiling down on us all.

--- Cassidy
