Obituary
MATTHEW TERRENCE FITZGERALD, age 35, died Friday, September 17, 2010, at his residence in Sikeston.
He was born August 1, 1975 in Sikeston to Terry and Sherry Baker Fitzgerald who survive of Sikeston. He had lived in Sikeston his entire life and was a 1994 graduate of Sikeston High School.
In February 2010 he married Angie Bolen who survives of Sikeston.
Also surviving are one daughter, Tori Anne Fitzgerald of Gulf Shores, AL; one brother and sister in law, Cory and Melissa Fitzgerald of Sikeston; his paternal grandmother, Catherine Taylor Fitzgerald of Rogers, AR; his maternal grandmother, Marilyn Baker of Sikeston; one niece; one nephew; several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Lynn Taylor Fitzgerald, and his grandfathers, W.W. Fitzgerald and Jim Baker.
Graveside service will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Monday, September 20, 2010, at the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston. Rev. Geoff Posegate, Pastor of the First United Methodist Church in Sikeston, will officiate.
Interment will follow under the direction of McMikle Funeral Home of Charleston.
