Melinda Gayle Midkiff Hensley, age 57, of Sikeston, MO, was taken into the arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on November 10, 2022.

She was born January 2, 1965, at Advance, MO, to the late George Thomas Midkiff and Katherine T. Davis Midkiff, affectionately  known as "Pa" and "Ma".  She had lived in the Sikeston area for several years.  She was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend.

Melinda loved playing darts, listening to music, watching movies and spending time with her son and daughter-in-law and grandchildren. She loved her family very much.

She is survived by her loving and devoted son and daughter in law, Jeremy and Ali Bryant of Sikeston; as well as her grandchildren that she called "little angels", Kobe, Kevin, Abygale, Ronan, and Freyja Bryant; her sisters, Kay (Doug) Hughes of Advance; Donna Ray of Morehouse and Mary (James) Buckley of Miner; several nieces, nephews and their families, and many friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Tommy Midkiff and Robert Midkiff; her sisters, Bonnie Maddox, Teresa Grisham and Margie Morgan; three nephews, Glenn Midkiff, Rick Maddox and Chad Maddox; brothers in law, Densil Morgan and Tyne Ray and sister-in-law, Sandra Kay Midkiff.

A memorial gathering and service will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., Friday, November 25, 2022, at the Mt. Zion-Walker General Baptist Church, 20002 County Road 510, Bloomfield, MO 63825
