MELISSA IAN WEAKLEY, age 47, a resident of East Prairie, died Friday, November 26, 2021.

She was born February 16, 1974, at Sikeston, MO, to Sue O'Connor who survives of East Prairie, and the late Donald Eugene Weakley, she had lived in East Prairie most of her life.  Currently employed with Shelby Farms as a secretary, she had worked as secretary in the radiology department and with Re-Start Therapy with Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston and also had been employed at Fun Times Day Care in East Prairie.  Missy was full of life, she loved playing basketball, loved music, singing and shopping.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her sons, Timothy "Braeden" Scott Marcum and Connor Grayson Marcum; her sister, Shelley Weakley; her lifelong best friend, Rachel Bolden; her uncles and aunt, Michael O'Connor, Todd Counts and Nicka O'Connor; as well as a number of cousins.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her brother, Scotty Weakley; her grandparents, J.D. O'Connor, Dixie Counts, Charles and Virginia Weakley and her uncle, Joe Wayne O'Connor.

Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 30, 2021, at the Full Gospel Church in East Prairie.  Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at the Full Gospel Church.   Bro. Stanley Triplett, pastor of Blessed Assurance Church in East Prairie, will officiate.

Interment will follow in the Dogwood Cemetery under the direction of the McMikle Funeral Home of Charleston.
