A Life Remembered Micah E. Ledbetter December 10, 2002 – May 9, 2025

Micah E. Ledbetter, 22, departed her earthly life on Friday, May 9, 2025. She was born on December 10, 2002, in Sikeston, MO, to Amanda Ledbetter and James Pratt (Carla Pratt). Micah was raised in the Bootheel of Missouri and was a light in the lives of all who knew her.

She was a proud member of the graduating class of 2021 at Cape Central High School, where she was actively involved in JROTC, choir, and was a devoted member of Cape First Church. Her commitment to service and leadership continued as she pursued higher education at Northwest Community College in Senatobia, Mississippi. Micah's heart for service was evident in the love and care she gave to children in daycare centers and to elderly residents in nursing homes. Her nurturing spirit, vibrant smile, and generous heart touched countless lives.

She will be forever remembered by her siblings: Regan Ledbetter, Quentin Ledbetter (Keliah Miles), Destiny Ledbetter, Marcus McFarland, Zarian Micah Mitchell. Nephews: Shyloe Ferguson and QuentiN Ledbetter. and nieces Avi Rey Ferguson and Genesis Ledbetter. Micah is survived by her grandmothers, Donna Pratt, Jerri Adkinson, Patti Elizabeth Donaldson, and her grandfather, David Eugene Ledbetter, along with her great-grandmother Leona Adkinson and Stepdad Tronzell Mitchell She also leaves behind a host of aunts and uncles who loved her dearly: Jessica Pratt (Anthony Mears), Jameka Pratt, Justin Meeks, Jordan Meeks, Jazmine Meeks, Katelyn and Karleigh Russell, Michael David Ledbetter, Jennifer Nicole Moore, and many others who cherished her deeply.

Micah was preceded in death by her grandfather James Edward Adkinson Jr., stepfather Maxwell "Rusty" Miller, and great-grandparents L.J Pratt, Anna Mae Pratt, Miles Robert Donaldson, Dorothy Joan Parker Miller, Loy Gene Miller, Joseph "Oscar" Ledbetter, and Dorothy Ellen Brewer Ledbetter.

Though our hearts are heavy, we rejoice in the memories Micah leaves behind. Her life was a testimony of love, service, and light—a legacy that will live on in those who knew her and those she served.
