Michael David Hurley, age 52, died Sunday, May 14, 2023, at his home in Bertrand, MO.

Born August 1, 1970, at Sikeston, MO, to Darlene Terrell Hurley who survives of Bertrand and the late David Eugene Hooper Hurley, he had lived in Bertrand his entire life and attended Charleston Schools. He was an excellent painter and construction worker, able to do just about anything required on a job site. Michael was a member of the First Baptist Church of Bertrand.

Surviving in addition to his mother are his children, Aaron Hurley of Bertrand; Arianna (Matt) Burk of Lilbourn; Michaela (Tommy) Katsantonis of Sikeston and Gabe Hurley of Bertrand; his grandchildren, Mariah Hurley, Abel Kirkham, Hayden Kirkham, Alex Katsantonis and Leo Katsantonis; his sister, Kimberly Hurley; his longtime companion, Christy Northern and her son, Levi Triplett; also, a number of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, May 18, 2023, at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston.

Interment will follow in the Dogwood Cemetery under the direction of the McMikle Funeral Home of Charleston.
