Michael Shannon "Mike" Gray, 44, of Benton died Wednesday, June 8, 2016 in Cape Girardeau. He was born July 14, 1971 in Poplar Bluff to Michael David Gray, who survives of East Prairie and the late Pansy Marie (Ward) Gray. A resident of this area most of his life, he was a driver for LaPlant Trucking of East Prairie and a member of Unity Baptist Church of Benton. He is survived by his father and step-mother, Michael D. & Patty Gray of East Prairie, two sons, Michael Gaylord Gray and Matthew David Gray both of Phoenix, Arizona; 1 brother, Ricky Lane Sammartino of Phoenix; 2 sisters, Regina Upton of Irving, TX and Rachael Hall of Phoenix; and 2 step-brothers, Jeff Gates of Sikeston and Kevin J.
