Michele Knickman

Michele Knickman, 62, of Sikeston, MO passed away on Friday, July 31, 2020.

Michele was born April 28, 1958 in Avon, South Dakota to Herb and Sharon (Bessel) Yost. She attended the University of South Dakota where she met her husband. On August 25,1979 she married Scott Knickman. They lived in 8 cities over a 16-year span until settling in Sikeston in 1993 where Michele was Vice President of the First State Community Bank. Michele was a devoted wife and mother. She was an outgoing and welcoming person. Cooking was a large part of her life that brought family and friends together. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, being at the lake, golfing and traveling with Scott.

She is survived and remembered by her husband of 40 years, Scott Knickman; her two children, Megan (Jason) Stegall of St. Peters, MO and Matt (Candice) Knickman of Cleveland, OH; four grandchildren, Cason and Clara Stegall and Avery and Anna Knickman; four brothers, Michael (Leda) Yost, Mark Yost, Marvin (Kris) Yost, Martin (Stephanie) Yost and two sisters, Monica VonSeggern and Melonie (Jeff) Juffer.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will be held on Friday. August 7, 2020 at the McMikle Funeral Home in Sikeston from 3:00 pm until the Memorial Service scheduled at 6:00 pm.
