GEORGE ULYS 'MICKEY' HENRY, Age 53, a resident of Charleston, died Wednesday, November 11, 2009, at his home.

He was born May 28, 1956 at Belmont, MO to the late Ulys A. "Buck" and Irene Brashers Henry. He had lived in Mississippi County his entire life and had been employed with the Weise Planning and Engineering Company at Miner for a number of years.

On June 12, 2008, he marred Kathy Haley who survives of the home.

Also surviving are: One daughter, Missy Adams of Charleston; one stepson, William Thomas Johnson of East Prairie; one stepdaughter, Cassie Rice of East Prairie; four sisters, Patricia Riley of Wyatt and Linda Redd, Phyllis Bell and Kathy Kuykendall all of East Prairie; three grandchildren, Stephanie Nicole Adams, Marcus Lee Adams and Andrew Todd Adams; four step grandchildren, Noah Wade Miller, Cody Lee Tubbs, Haley Joann Rice and Kaitlyn Justine Johnson.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Donald Ray Henry, one sister, Alice Riggins and by two nephews, Michael Ray Moore and Kirk Riggins.

Friends may call from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Friday, November 13, 2009 at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston where funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, November 13, 2009. Eddie Barnhill of Charleston and Rev. Michael Brewer, pastor of First Baptist Church of Charleston, will officiate.

Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be: Jason Jenkins, Mark Moore, Tony Riggins, Jr., Bobby Kuykendall, Chris Kuykendall, James Russell and Daniel Bell.

Honorary Pallbearers will be: Frankie Chance, John Henry Thurman, Warren Palmer and J. R. Carter.
