MICKEY WARREN McREYNOLDS, Age 58, formerly of Sedalia, MO, died Saturday, July 30, 2011 at his home in Farmington, Missouri.
Born June 1, 1953 at Kansas City, MO to George Wilson McReynolds who survives of Stover, MO and Christine Norvella Mae Field d'Aquin who survives of Spencer, IN, he was a 1971 graduate of Camdenton High School where he was a member of the school choir and wonderful artist. After high school, he joined the US Air Force and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. Mickey was a 'jolly fellow' with a particular passion for children, animals and helping others.
Surviving besides his parents are: one son and daughter law, Michael Lee and Charlene Mills of Doniphan, MO; two sisters and brothers in law, Celia Rae and Gary L. Reed of Warsaw, IN and Cheryl Kay and Randy L. Troutwine of Bertrand, MO; his step sister and brother in law, Lisa and Carl Stathem of Sedalia, MO; one granddaughter, McKenna Mills of Doniphan, MO; also his nieces Danielle McReynolds Mikels and her husband Stephen W. Mikels of Sikeston; Brianna Isabelle Reed of Warsaw, IN and Sarah Stathem of Sedalia, MO; nephew, Gareth Scott Reed of Warsaw, IN; great niece, Brittany Danielle Culter of Sikeston; great nephew, Kevin Scott Culter of Sikeston.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Scott Wilson McReynolds and his stepmother, Janet McReynolds.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, August 4, 2011 in the chapel at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield. Rev. Geoff Posegate, pastor of the First United Methodist Church of Sikeston, will officiate. Full military honors will be provided by the Missouri Military Honors Program.
