Mildred Maxine Hartwick Harrington, age 86, of Charleston, died Friday, November 3, 2023, at the Hunter Acres Nursing Center in Sikeston.

Born August 30, 1937, at Dumas, AR, to the late Marvin Clark Hartwick and Mozell Osborne Hartwick, she had lived in Charleston most of her life and had attended the Full Gospel Church in East Prairie.

On May 5, 1978, she married Kenneth Gene Harrington, who preceded her in death on February 5, 2021.

Surviving is her daughter, Dana (Paul) Bard of Charleston; her son, Bryan (Heather) Harrington of East Prairie; her grandchildren, Savanna Powell, Dakota (Meridyth) Harrington and Brooklyn Harrington; great grandson, Elric Noel Gene Rhodes; and her brother, Kenneth Hartwick. Also, two adopted sons, Ralph Temple and Larry (Kathleen) Temple.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Cecil Hartwick.

Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until the funeral hour at 11:00 a.m., Monday, November 6, 2023, at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston. Eric McGruder, pastor of Full Gospel Church at East Prairie, will officiate.

Interment will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery near Charleston under the direction of the McMikle Funeral Home of Charleston.
