MILDRED PITTMAN SMITH, age 94, of Charleston and formerly of Sikeston, died Wednesday, June 19, 2019, at the Charleston Manor.

Born April 16, 1924, at Prescott, AR, to the late George and Katie Pittman, she had lived in Charleston most of her life but had lived in Sikeston a number of years where she was employed with Lambert's Café for over 25 years.

Surviving are her daughters, Barbara (Tony) Trousdale and Janet Linebaugh both of Charleston; two grandchildren, Tonya (Mark) Runnels and Thad (Barbie) Trousdale; two great grandchildren, Erin Runnels and Bryan Runnels; one great great granddaughter, Finlee Jean Peters.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Reeder Pittman and one sister, Frances Linebaugh.

Private Graveside services will be held Thursday, June 20, 2019, at the Oak Grove Cemetery at Charleston.

Interment will follow under the direction of McMikle Funeral Home of Charleston.
