Nadene Frans Reynolds, age 88, of Makanda, IL, died Sunday, January 1, 2023, at The Manor of Westridge Place in Carbondale, IL.

She was born January 4, 1934, in the Birds Point Community of Mississippi County, MO, to the late Henry Clay Frans and Artie Marshall Frans.     Living in Makanda, IL a number of years, she was a member of the Makanda Baptist Church and later became a member of the Palestine Baptist Church.    She had worked as an insurance agent for many years.

On April 14, 1951, she married Allen Larry Reynolds, who preceded her in death on September 8, 1999.

Surviving is her cousin in law, Darcy Murphy-Adams, and nieces and nephews, Heather Murphy, Ryan Murphy and Stanley Spencer.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Clay Frans and her sisters, Louise Bender and Jewelene Spencer.

Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, January 11, 2023, at the Oak Grove Cemetery near Charleston, MO.

Interment will follow under the direction of the McMikle Funeral Home of Charleston.
