NADINE BRADY
JOSEPHINE NADINE BRADY, Age 79, a resident of Charleston, died Saturday, May 3, 2014, at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
Born December 17, 1934, at Walnut Ridge, AR, to the late Jess and Jewell Irene Holder McEntire, she had lived in Charleston most of her life where she was a member of the Charleston Church of Christ. She worked a number of years at the Bertrand Nursing Center as a Nurse Aide and also did child care in her home until her retirement.
On October 13, 1951, she married Paul Junior Brady, who preceded her in death November 14, 1979.
Surviving are: one son, Delois Brady of the home; two daughters, Francine (Stanley) Ivester of Benton, MO and Linda (Louis Cummins) Murphy of Charleston; two brothers, Jessie L. McEntire of Charleston and Russell McEntire of Sikeston; two sisters, Flossie Hurst of Walnut Ridge, AR and Mary Chappell of Sikeston, MO; two grandsons, John David Fisher and Robert Daniel Murphy; 4 great grandchildren; and also a number of nieces and nephews survive as well as her special caregiver, Judy Sevic of Wyatt, Mo.
Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by five brothers, J.B. McEntire, Tommie Joe McEntire, Brooks McEntire, Cecil McEntire and Howard Lee McEntire; one sister, Marcella Murphy; one half brother, Charles H. McEntire and one infant sister.
Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 6, 2014, at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston where Funeral Services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 7, 2014. Rev. Gerald Penn, pastor of the First Assembly of God Church in Charleston and Bill Bradley, of Charleston, will officiate.
Private interment will follow at the Walcott Cemetery near Light, Arkansas, under the direction of the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston.
