Obituary

Naomi June Hutchcraft, 88, died Saturday, Nov. 25, 2017, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.  She was born July 10, 1929 in Washington, Illinois to the late Harry and Katie (Thewlis) Kelso.  On July 19, 1947 she married Francis Gilbert "Gib" Hutchcraft in Morganfield, Kentucky and he preceded her in death Sept. 30, 1998.  They moved to Sikeston from Atlanta in 1958 and she was a member of the Sikeston Elks Lodge and was a published poet; she was also a member of the Western Star Cowboy Church in Springtown, Texas.  She is survived by 1 son & daughter-in-law, Gilbert Charles and Karen Hutchcraft of Sikeston; 2 daughters & sons-in-law,, Mary & Bobby Bowden of Springtown, TX and Carol Jean and David Towe of Sikeston; and 1 brother Richard (Roberta) Kelso of Dona, TX.  Also surviving are 8 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.  Visitation will be from 5 until 8 PM Thursday, Nov. 30, at Blanchard Funeral Chapel.  Graveside rites will be at 11:00 AM Friday, Dec. 1, at Richardson Hill Cemetery at Dahlgren, Illinois with her son-in-law, Rev. Bobby Bowden, pastor of the Western Star Cowboy Church officiating.
Pallbearers will be C.L. Blanton, Travis Cross, Chip Hutchcraft, Ben Towe, Chad Towe and Justin Towe.   Online condolences may be shared with the family at blanchardfuneral.com.
