Nola Jean Braswell Chadd

Nola Jean Braswell Chadd, age 67, died Wednesday, February 25, 2026, at her home in Sikeston, MO.

She was born April 17, 1958, at Flat River, MO, to Earl Frederick Braswell and Erma Jean Bodimer Braswell. Nola was lover of rock music, especially the band “KISS”- Nola marched to the beat of her own drum.

For the past six years, Nola had been a live in caretaker to her parents. She helped make life easier for her mother through her struggle with Parkinsons disease.

Nola is survived by her father, Earl; daughter, Adrienne Clayton; son, Christian Jacobs; grandson, Austin Clayton, granddaughter, Lindsay Clayton; grandson, Cole Clayton; her sisters, Jennifer (Dave) Mather and Nancy Braswell.

Nola was preceded in death by her mother, Erma; her brother, Benjamin; her son in law, Donald and her beloved dog, Whoop.
