NORVELL DEAN LINHART, age 84, died Thursday, October 8, 2020, at his home in East Prairie.

Born January 18, 1936, to the late Beverly "Son" Linhart and Mary Elizabeth Fowler Linhart, he had lived in East Prairie most of his life and had retired from Noranda Aluminum and MoDot after a number of years.

On December 8, 1961, he married Linda Mae Turley, who survives of the home.

Also surviving are his children, Mary Jane (Darrell) Jones of East Prairie, Cory Dean (Cindy) Linhart of Charleston, SC, Mary B. Eastman of Sikeston and Ricky Joe (Sarah) Linhart of East Prairie; his brothers and sisters, Charles Linhart, Ernie Linhart, Eddy Linhart, Alvin Linhart, Danny Linhart, Kathy Hannah and Chryl Carter; grandchildren, Brian (Kristen) Jones, Magen (Justin) Berry, Holli (Britton) Childers, Hunter Blue (Mandy) Jones, Choral Linhart, Ethan Linhart, Luke Linhart, Conrad Linhart, Clint Eastman, Kaleb Linhart, Destinee Linhart, Ericka Linhart, Derek (Amanda) Jones, Ricky (Julie) Johnson, the late Michael Jones and Blake (Shelly) Jones; 27 great great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, and sisters, Jerry Linhart, Gerlean Parker, Edna Hendrix, Peggy Johnson and Anita Henderson.

Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Saturday, October 10, 2020, at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston where funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Sunday, October 11, 2020.

Interment will follow in the Dogwood Cemetery under the direction of the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston.

Pallbearers will be: Britton Childers, Justin Berry, Kaden Revelle, Tate Henderson, Clint Eastman, Ryan Poyner, Tyler Branam, Luke Linhart, Conrad Linhart, Ethan Linhart, Brian Jones and Hunter Jones.
