OCTAVE LOIS LANCASTER, age 76, formerly of Matthews, MO, died Tuesday, October 9, 2018, at Alexian Brothers Nursing Center in St. Louis.
Born November 5, 1941, at Bertrand, MO, to the late Lofton Kellick and Mary Virginia Peters Kellick, she had lived in Bertrand and then Matthews most of her life before moving to St. Louis to be near her daughter. She was of Baptist Belief.
On February 18, 1967, she married Harold Boyd Lancaster, who preceded her in death January 24, 2006.
Surviving is one daughter, Stephanie Lancaster Hardin of St. Louis and several nieces and nephews.
Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Bobby Kellick, J.W. Kellick, Marion William "Bill" Kellick and Gary Kellick.
Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m., Thursday, October 11, 2018, at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston. Graveside services will follow at 11:00 a.m., at the Oak Grove Cemetery near Charleston.
Interment will follow under the direction of McMikle Funeral Home of Charleston.
