Obituary
O'DELL THORNTON, Age 97, formerly of Wyatt, MO, died at 12:25 a.m., Thursday, May 06, 2010 at the Charleston Manor.
Born January 18, 1913, at Bowling Green, KY to the late Arthur and Carrie Kitchens Thornton, she had lived in Wyatt most of her life and was a member of the Wyatt Baptist Church.
Surviving is: two sisters, Alma Johnson of Collinsville, IL and Genevieve Gill of Granite City, IL; also a number of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Charles Thornton and three sisters, Hazel Curtis, Lena Thornton and Lillie Pearl Thornton.
Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, May 8, 2010 at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston. Rev. Tom Bridges of Bertrand, will officiate.
Interment will follow in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery near Charleston under the direction of the McMikle Funeral Home.
