OLA HURLEY BERRY, age 92, passed away Monday, January 21, 2013 at Miner Nursing Center, surrounded by family.
She was born June 9, 1920, at Bertrand, MO, to the late Jesse and Daisy Williams Hurley, where she lived her entire life and was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy.
On October 24, 1947 she married Jesse D. Berry, who preceded her in death in October 11, 2007.
She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Annette and Cliff Gilliland, of Hattiesburg, MS; her son and daughter-in-law, Billy and Carolyn Berry, of Washington Courthouse, Ohio, and her son-in-law, John Bohannon of Sikeston, MO. She has 10 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two daughters, Phyllis Berry Bohannon and Linda Faye Berry; four brothers Ernest Hurley, Russ Hurley, Earl Hurley and Joe Hurley, and by four sisters, Effie Wilkerson, Ruby Brashears, Edna Phillips and Birdie Chaney.
Visitation will be from 9:30 and until service time at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, January 23, at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston. Jennifer Brashears, pastor of the Church of God of Prophecy of Bertrand, will officiate.
Interment will follow at the Oak Grove Cemetery near Charleston under the direction of the McMikle Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Johnny Gilliland, Jim Gilliland, Tim Broome, Philip Bohannon, Justin Bohannon and Ben Bohannon.
