Obituary
OLA McDANIEL DRURY, Age 89, a resident of Charleston, died Friday, April 23, 2010 at the Charleston Manor.
Born September 2, 1920, in Arkansas, to the late James and Sarah Clark McDaniel, she had lived in Charleston most of her life where she worked as a private home caregiver and was a member of the First General Baptist Church in Charleston.
On February 22, 1943, she married Clifton Reed Drury, who preceded her in death on June 7, 1988.
Surviving is: one son, Fred Drury of Charleston; one daughter, Karen Manker of Wappapello, MO; one sister, Patsy Holley of Charleston; 6 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and one great great grandson.
One son, George Rodney Drury; one grandson, Ronnie J. Drury; one brother, James Leon McDaniel; and four sisters, Myrtle Dieckmeyer, Bea Toney, Agatha Martin and Inez Collier all preceded her in death.
Graveside services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m., Monday, April 26, 2010 at the Oak Grove Cemetery near Charleston. John Nimmo, chaplian with Crown Hospice, will officiate
Interment will follow under the direction of the McMikle Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be: Jonathan Owens, Mitchell Woods, Donnie Drury, Dreu Thornton, Kenny Hunter and Kris Woods.
