Oliver Wendell Kirkpatrick, age 87, of Lusk Chapel, Missouri, passed away peacefully at his home, Monday, January 31, 2022, with his loving family by his side.

Oliver was born in Diehlstadt, Missouri on April 5, 1934 to Ollie and Olive Duckett Kirkpatrick. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Frank Reed Kirkpatrick.

Oliver leaves behind his loving wife of 61 years, Nancy Callahan Kirkpatrick. He also leaves behind his brother Benny (Susan) Kirkpatrick, as well as his children Wendell (Kristi) Kirkpatrick and Kay (Doug) Glastetter, grandchildren, Matt (Krista) Glastetter, Maggie (Daniel) Schuh, Mark (Keshia) Glastetter, and Canon Kirkpatrick. Also, great-grandchildren Owen and Ellie Louise Schuh, Ridge and Rush Glastetter , and Savannah and Madelyn Glastetter.

Oliver lived in Lusk Chapel, Missouri most all of his life. He was a lifelong farmer and avid outdoorsman. In his free time he enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, and flying small aircraft. Some of Oliver's many accomplishments throughout his life include serving on the National Guard, where he was a member of a Missouri State Rifle Championship Team, 32 ^nd Decree Mason, President of Levee District 2, and Big Lake Drainage Distict Board Member.

His wonderful life will live on through his children and grandchildren through his teachings of hunting, fishing, gardening, farming, and more.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
