Orlando Benny Whalen, was born October 23, 1988, and died December 7, 2025, at the age of 37.

Orlando graduated from Poplar Bluff High School in 2005 and made his home in St. Louis where he was employed with Barnes Jewish Hospital.

He was the son of the late Benny Whalen.  His survivors include his parents, Louise Washington of St. Louis and Lesia and Chester Williams of Sikeston; his children, Joseph Roseman of St. Louis, Traveon Grant and Jayveon Grant of Sikeston and Zamiya Washington of St. Louis.

Also surviving are his siblings, Jermaine Washington, Sharron Crenshaw, Robert Mull, Cortez Washington, La'Shawn Washington and Sharel Hall all of St. Louis and Chester Brown and Mekiala Williams of Sikeston. Also, a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Memorial Services will be held, at 12:00 p.m. (noon), Saturday, December 20, 2025, at the Green Memorial Church of God in Christ in Sikeston.  Pastor Paul Johnson will officiate.  The eulogy will be offered by Elder Michael Brown.

Interment will be at a later date at the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston.
