ORLENE CARLTON DRAKE, age 95, of Morehouse, died Friday, October 8, 2021, at the Sikeston Convalescent Center.

She was born January 8, 1926, at Murray, Arkansas to the late Charles Carlton and Pearl Stevens Carlton.  She had lived in Morehouse most of her life and had attended the Canalou Baptist Church.

She was married to Charles H. Drake who preceded her in death.

Surviving is her son, Garrel Gene Lee of Morehouse; her brother, Bill Carlton of Morehouse; two granddaughters, Renee Curry of Sikeston and Lora Jordan of Morehouse; five great grandchildren and nine great great grandchildren; also, several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Charles Carlton, Jr.; and two sisters, Ina Ruth Lewis and Iree Lackey.

Visitation will be from noon until the funeral hour at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 13, 2021, at the McMikle Funeral Home in Sikeston.  Rev. Dewayne Coleman will officiate.

Interment will follow in the Garden of Memories Cemetery under the direction of the McMikle Funeral Home of Sikeston.
