Obituary

Patricia Ann Barnes "Pat" Lambert, age 75, a resident of East Prairie, died Sunday, December 18, 2022, at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

Born Dec 11, 1947, in Medina TN, to the late Grady O'Dell Barnes and Nancy Imogene Tate Barnes. She married her grade school sweetheart and the love of her life, Alden Rodger Lambert on December 10, 1965, one day before she turned 18 years old. They were together for 35 years and 9 wonderful months.

Pat was a retired social worker for State of Missouri where she worked for over 35 years. She also retired from 17 years with MRM Ag Services and The JR Simplot company. She always greeted her clients and the farmers on her scale at MRM with a smile. She thought of her co-workers at MRM as her large extended family and was always there for them whenever they needed her.

Pat was a longtime member of the First Chrisitan Church of East Prairie and had served as a trustee.

God blessed her with another wonderful love when she met Denis Belvin several years after her husband passed. They had great adventures and made wonderful memories for 14 years until his death in September 2020.

Pat was the proud Mama and is survived by two daughters whom she loved dearly: Julie Beth Lambert Keck (Kenneth Bradley Keck) of Panama City Beach Fl and Jill Suzanne Lambert Bell of East Prairie

She was also the proud "Nannie" to three grandchildren. Bradley Mathis "Matt" Keck (deceased), Ali Logan Keck of East Prairie and Emma Kate Bell of East Prairie. Nothing made her beautiful blue eyes shine brighter than her daughters and her grandchildren.

Pat is also survived by a sister, Dottie Barnes Parrish (Charles Parrish) of Dexter Mo., and her "baby" brother, Brian Keith Barnes of Dexter Mo., along with her much loved Nieces and Nephews: April Parrish Cox, Amanda Parrish Fortner, Tamra Barnes, Tessla Barnes and Tylor Barnes.

Pat is also survived by her very best friend Paula Finley Byassee of East Prairie, and a cherished cousin, Helen Chappell of Danville Ky.

Pat will be most remembered for her sweet loving soul, her kind nature, and her unshakable faith in God. Her life may have been filled with many challenges, but she always knew that God guided her every step of the way. She never wavered from her faith, and she made sure her daughters and her grandchildren knew that faith in her loving God was the most important thing in their lives. Anyone that met her knew how sweet her soul was within minutes of meeting her. She will be missed tremendously by her daughters, her granddaughters and the rest of her family and many friends; but we know without a doubt she will be waiting on all of us with those big beautiful blue eyes and a huge smile at the entrance to heaven when we are called home.

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, December 22, 2022, at the McMikle Funeral Home on Charleston. Jon Archie, pastor of the Elm Street Baptist Church of Charleston, will officiate.

Interment will follow in the Dogwood Cemetery under the direction of McMikle Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Ronnie Byassee, Charles Fortner, Steven Cox, Tylor Barnes, Mickey Lay, and Milas Mainord
