Patricia Dale "Pat" Crowell, 71, a life long resident of this area, died at her home, Wednesday, Aug. 28, 2019.  She was born July 23, 1948 in Sikeston to Berneice (Christopher) Fitts who survives of Sikeston and the late Ulie Fitts.  A graduate of Bell City High School, she was a Baptist, and  had been a busy craft maker and homemaker; she had worked as an insurance coordinator at Food Giant, a packer at Brown Shoe and a social worker at Scott Co. Division of Family Services.

She was united in marriage June 18, 1966 to Larry G. Crowell at Morehouse and he survives of the home.  In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Amanda and Steven Evans of Sikeston; two grandchildren, Tyler & Whitney Evans of Paragould, Ark. and Tori Evans of Sikeston; 1 brother, Allen Fitts of Dexter; and 3 sisters, Kathy Duncan of Sikeston, Tammy Krapf of Olive Branch, MS, and Sherri Bathen of Dexter, and was preceded in death by one brother, Johnny F. Fitts.
