Patricia Charlotte "Pat" Young, 60, died at her homne in Sikeston at 3:35 am Sunday, Aug. 19.
She was born Feb. 27, 1952 at Dexter to the late James & Charlotta Brannon.
A lifelong resident of this area, she had worked at National Lock and the for the past 25 years in receiving at Wal-Mart.
She was married to Jerry Wayne Young Aug. 12, 1972 in Sikeston and he survives of the home. Also surviving are 1 son, William "Scott" Young of the home; 2 grandchildren, Christopher Lynn Young and Maria Louise Young of Matthews; 1 brother, James Eugene Brannon of Salcedo; 2 sisters, Linda Arthur of Grandin and Nancy Cochran of Marble Hill. She was preceded in death by 3 brothers and 4 sisters.
Friends may call from 5 until 8 pm Tuesday, Aug. 21 at Blanchard Funeral Chapel where funeral services will be held at 11:30 am Wednesday Aug. 22 with Rev. Gary Graham, Pastor of the Pentecostal Lighthouse of East Prairie officiating.. Burial will follow at 1 pm at the MO State Veterans Cemetery at Bloomfield under the direction of Blanchard Funeral Chapel. Pallbearers will be Ricky Ramsey, Johnny Layton, Christopher Young, Scott Young, Mike Brannon and Eddie Joe Layton.
