Patricia Ann Brown Vance, age 84, of East Prairie, died Sunday, May 18, 2025, at the Cotton Point Living Center in Matthews, Mo.

Born January 18, 1941, in East Prairie, MO, to the late Charles William Brown and Vivian Laverne Matthews Brown, Pat had lived in East Prairie most of her life.   Pat held numerous jobs throughout her life but was most proud of her learning to operate a crane while she was employed with Noranda.

Surviving is her beloved dog, Little Man; her sister, Susie Moore (Tom) Taylor and Cheryl (Bill) McCutchen as well as a number of nieces and nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Tommy Brown, Larry Eugene Brown, David "Slick" Brown; and her sisters, Carol Rayburn, Joyce Branam, Martha Brown and Linda Gail Brown.

Per Pat's wishes. There will be no services.

Pat made arrangements for an anatomical gift of her body to Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, MO.

McMikle Funeral Home of Charleston is in charge of arrangements.
